Aquatic Rescue teams helped visitors at different points of the port; authorities reiterate the call to respect the warning flags.

Due to the continuous waves that occur on the beaches of Mazatlán, five tourists, two of them female, were rescued in different places by the aquatic team when they were dragged by the currents out to sea, so they only received first aid on land.

The authorities announced that on Camarón beach, elements of the Aquatic Rescue Corps were notified that two men and a woman requested help to get out of the sea, since no matter how much effort they made to return to dry land, they did not achieve their goal.

With the support of Jet Sky, the three were taken to dry land, where paramedics attended to them, since they only showed signs of fatigue and stress due to the difficult times they went through when they were pulled by the currents, so they did not deserve to be taken to a hospital for evaluation.

In other cases that occurred on the Norte Cinco beach, a male person, originally from the state of Jalisco, who entered the sea, because of the strong waves, moved away quickly, despite the efforts of nothing against the current, so he asked for help to be removed.

After being dragged out to sea, the rescuers managed to get him to safety and undergo a review by paramedics, without the need to be taken to a medical clinic in the port, since he only presented exhaustion from the effort.

A 35-year-old woman, originally from Mexico City, was rescued on another of the beaches of Mazatlán, since after entering the sea, she began to move away from the sand, despite her efforts to avoid it, so she only received first aid and retired to the hotel.

The municipal authorities explained that despite the fact that warning flags have been placed on the beaches about the conditions of the sea, many people enter to bathe without taking the respective measures, in relation to the intense waves that occur.
