More than ten Nayarit brands, featuring products like wines, tostadas, and salsas, will be available in 96 regional OXXO stores starting February 6, announced César Octavio Lara Fonseca, Secretary of Economy for Nayarit.
“We will be able to find a dedicated space for Nayarit products. These displays will begin in 96 stores. We expect to surpass this goal, but it also depends on the producers’ ability to supply the stores. We will soon exceed 100.”
The official inauguration of the Nayarit Produce displays will take place on February 6 at the OXXO store in La Cantera, where a ribbon-cutting ceremony will be held.
The participating brands are: Aticama Salsa, Tortillería Las 7 Esquinas, Tostadas Raspadas León, Maya Salsa, Litibú Salsa, Chilironay Salsa, Tahi Deshidratados, Botanas Monchita, and Santa Sirena.
The products will be marketed regionally in Nayarit, Jalisco, and Sinaloa. Lara Fonseca stated that this will continue to grow, and therefore called on consumers to purchase these products and encouraged entrepreneurs who wish to participate to contact the Ministry of Economy for support in their development.
