Full of life, color and tradition, this is how its first weekend, the Feria de la Candelaria 2026 in San Miguel de Allende, looked like and became a total success.
The Zeferino Gutiérrez park was filled with families from San Miguel and visitors who enjoyed a festive atmosphere, surrounded by plants, trees, flowers and a wide range of cultural and recreational activities.
During its inauguration, the treasurer, Raúl Vallejo, who on behalf of the municipal president, Mauricio Trejo, highlighted the importance of preserving the traditions that distinguish “The Best City in the World”. The municipal government of San Miguel de Allende, administration 2024–2027, is pleased to welcome you to the seventieth edition of the Feria de la Candelaria, which is for all of you.
We have more than 100 exhibitors where you can find everything from a snack, a plant, a pot, a fertilizer or a seed, to fruit trees. We declare our Feria de la Candelaria inaugurated at 6 p.m. with 13 minutes on January 30, 2026,” he said
The public was able to enjoy live music, puppet presentations, wine tastings, arboriculture activities, talks, games, and various activities for all ages, in addition to the classic and long-awaited sale of plants, pots, fertilizers, seeds, and fruit trees, reaffirming the traditional and environmental character of this fair.
