The new CURP document will be essential for completing all types of paperwork, as the goal is to strengthen all registration processes in Mexico.
In this regard, the Mexican government has issued the following information, which you will find useful.
First of all, you should know that the biometric CURP process is done in person, and you must have the following documents:
A copy of your CURP and birth certificate, as well as an official ID (INE, Passport, Military Service Card, Professional License, School ID, ISSSTE ID, IMSS ID, or ID issued by the Ministry of Welfare).
Then you must schedule your appointment at the CURP office in Aguascalientes:
Avenida Héroe de Nacozari, corner of Avenida Adolfo López Mateos, and Leandro Valle Street, no number, Palacio de Justicia, downtown area. The phone numbers for both are: 449 910 26 46 ext. 6323 and 2822, respectively.
You must go to either of these locations with the required documents, where your face, iris, fingerprints, and signature will be registered.
Once the biometric registration is complete, you will receive an email confirming your application to the National Population Registry, confirming that you completed the process and that your information has been registered.
