It’s no longer organized crime fighting for territory who hang banners threatening their rivals in the extortion and drug trade; now it’s ordinary citizens and productive business owners from various municipalities in the State of Mexico who are raising their voices against extortion and the fabrication of crimes by Investigative Police officers from the State of Mexico Attorney General’s Office.
A purge is urgently needed within the institutions responsible for crime prevention and law enforcement (police, public prosecutors, attorneys general, etc.), not only in the State of Mexico, but throughout the entire country. Only one measure is needed, just one: Political Will! How long will this continue?
