The governor presented the state’s logistical strengths to the U.S.-Mexico Chamber of Commerce, highlighting the Colombia Customs Office as a key strategic hub for nearshoring and secure freight transport.
To promote and foster foreign investment in Nuevo León, Governor Samuel Alejandro García Sepúlveda met with the Northeast Chapter of the U.S.-Mexico Chamber of Commerce.
Accompanied by the organization’s president, Enrique Pérez-Grovas, the governor emphasized Nuevo León’s national leadership and the strategies that position it as a leader in international trade.
As part of the working session, García Sepúlveda participated in an open dialogue with member companies of the chamber, including Milbank, Santander, Citibank, and Goldman Sachs.
At the agency’s offices in New York, the governor stated that Nuevo León is the best destination for investment due to its strategic location for accessing Texas through the Colombia Customs Office, making it the primary option for import and export trade and logistics.
Furthermore, with the implementation of special operations by the Fuerza Civil (State Police), it has been recognized as the safest alternative, guaranteeing the safety of those traveling through the area.
In this way, the aim is to continue fulfilling the commitment to strengthening Nuevo León’s regional competitiveness through alliances that promote trade, attract investment, and foster business development between the two nations.
