On Monday, the search began between Petatlán and Tecpan de Galeana for a family of tourists from the state of Puebla who disappeared last week in this area of the Costa Grande region.
The missing family consists of a married couple and their two young daughters. It was reported that the family had settled in Papanoa, in the municipality of Petatlán, three months prior.
It should be noted that on Saturday, the body of a woman was found near the Coyuquilla Sur sandbar, and on Monday, the body of a man was found in the same area.
It was speculated that the bodies could be those of the couple. The bodies have not been identified, and no authority has confirmed or denied this.
The search, which began on Monday, involved local officials and residents from the towns of Santa Rosa, in the municipality of Tecpan de Galeana, and Coyuquilla Norte, Coyuquilla Sur, and Papanoa, in Petatlán.
They combed several hills and an area near the beach. And they didn’t report the result until late afternoon/evening.
