Mazatlán, Sinaloa. – Merchants of the syndicate of La Noria, located in the northern area of the municipality of Mazatlán, have experienced an uptick in the influx of tourists in recent weeks, according to statements by Pilar Ramírez, a businesswoman of the restaurant sector in the area.
The businesswoman stressed that, although they do not receive many people from cruise ships, the tourists who come to La Noria come mainly from hotels and travel agencies. In addition to the occasional independent tour promoter, who takes groups of tourists two to three times a week.
“We began to receive foreign tourism about 15 days AGO. it began to be activated again, blessed God this tourism client, which we already needed enough, the truth. Pronatours usually comes three times a week, and Vista Tour, once or twice, and the charioteers are also coming three days a week. So right now, for the time being, this has already begun to be reactivated. Let’s hope and get better.”
Pilar Ramírez, manager of the restaurant El Sazón de la Abuela Tina, expressed her satisfaction with the return of tourists and highlighted the importance of this rebound for the community of La Noria, which relies almost entirely on tourist activity.
According to Ramirez, travel agencies such as Pronatours and Vista Tours regularly transport tourists to rural areas, most of whom are directly from hotels, resulting in a minimal influx of tourists.
