The official explained that couples must have all their documentation ready beforehand, including their CURP (Unique Population Registry Code), official identification, birth certificate, and recent premarital exams. If either partner is divorced or widowed, they must present the corresponding certificate.
“It is very important that they come with all the required paperwork so that the process can be completed smoothly,” Flores Serna noted.
Once they have gathered the documents, couples should go to the Civil Registry Office closest to their home or to the offices located in the Citizen Pavilion, where they will receive assistance and guidance to complete their registration.
“We want to invite all couples who have not yet registered to take advantage of this last day. Collective Marriages are an opportunity to give legal certainty to their union,” the Secretary General of the Government stated.
He added that the objective of this event is to facilitate access to the process and support couples throughout the entire procedure.
Flores Serna announced that the large-scale event will take place on Saturday, February 14, starting at 8:00 a.m., at the Nuevo León Unido Gymnasium, where hundreds of couples will formalize their union completely free of charge.
“It will be a very special event, on a significant date, celebrating commitment and the union of families,” he concluded.
