A family tragedy was experienced in Puebla, after two children decided to prepare food and died from poisoning; their mother also lost her life in the accident.

According to preliminary information, the event occurred at a home located in the Leobardo Coca neighborhood, in the city of Puebla. The mother of the minors had suffered a previous accident and was unable to cook, so she had to stay in bed.

Because of this, 12-year-old Ingrid and 10-year-old Joel decided to cook something to feed themselves and their mother. However, they left the stove on without noticing that there was a carbon monoxide leak. When they heated the food, they would have gone to lie down next to their mother, but the gas emanation caused none of the three, including the 37-year-old woman, to wake up again.

Local media indicate that only the woman and her two children lived in the place; For this reason, one of the neighbors was in charge of organizing the funeral services, and the wake was held in the same private room. Relatives of the victims arrived at the scene.
