The Diocese of Querétaro has warned Catholic faithful about the presence of imposters who are conducting sacraments for profit in homes or private venues in exchange for money.
In a statement, the Diocese cautioned against preachers, whether priests or laypeople, who come from other dioceses or countries and organize spiritual retreats for healing and deliverance in private locations; these individuals often come without authorization from their bishop, superior, or parish priest.
