The state of Querétaro ranked among the top five auto parts producers in Mexico in 2025, with $9.327 billion in production, according to the National Auto Parts Industry Association (INA).
Julio Galván, INA’s Economic Studies Manager, announced that the leading auto parts producers in Mexico in 2025 were:
Coahuila ($18.223 billion)
Guanajuato ($16.172 billion)
Nuevo León ($15.629 billion)
Chihuahua ($10.421 billion)
Querétaro ($9.327 billion)
These five states account for more than half of the sector’s national production.
He noted that the Mexican auto parts industry closed 2025 with a total production of $119.002 billion, solidifying its position as a cornerstone of Mexican manufacturing and the North American automotive trade.
In 2025, Mexican auto parts exports reached US$103.508 billion, while imports totaled US$68.069 billion.
The INA highlighted that Mexico remains the leading supplier of auto parts to the United States, a market that accounts for 87% of Mexican exports in the sector, followed by Canada with 4.0%, Brazil with 1.5%, South Korea with 1.2%, and China with 1.0%.
Within the sector’s production structure, electrical components accounted for the largest share, representing 19.3% of total national production, with a value of US$22.968 billion.
