Starting June 2, 2026, traveling to Puebla or Puerto Vallarta will be faster, more direct, and more affordable, thanks to the opening of two new Volaris routes from Jesús Terán Peredo International Airport.
The new flights will operate three times a week: Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Sundays, facilitating quick and accessible travel for both business travelers and those seeking leisure options. The connection to Puerto Vallarta responds to the growing demand for beach destinations from the Bajío region, while Puebla represents a strategic link for business, industrial, and cultural activity.
On the Aguascalientes-Puerto Vallarta route, flights will depart at 8:13 a.m., arriving at 9:10 a.m.; the return flight will depart at 9:50 a.m. and land at 10:46 a.m.
For the Aguascalientes-Puebla route, the departure will be at 11:21 a.m., arriving at 12:35 p.m.; the return flight will depart at 6:13 a.m. and arrive at 7:31 a.m.
This expansion not only boosts tourism and business but also consolidates Aguascalientes as a strategic national connection point, the result of a firm mobility and development policy spearheaded by Governor Tere Jiménez, whose long-term vision is focused on a more competitive state fully connected to major national and international destinations.
The coordination between the State Government, airlines, and the Airport Group has allowed for progress in expanding routes, especially during peak seasons such as the San Marcos National Fair, the Wine Route Harvest Festival, and the Calaveras Cultural Festival, events that attract thousands of visitors each year.
