A CAPUFE cashier allegedly died after eating a chocolate bar given to her by a truck driver.

A cashier for Caminos y Puentes Federales (CAPUFE), identified as Kattia Josselyn “N,” died this Wednesday, March 25, after being rushed to a hospital following a seizure while on duty at a toll booth in Acayucan, Veracruz.

According to initial reports, the 28-year-old woman was admitted to the emergency room of the Oluta Hospital around 5:45 a.m. in a CAPUFE ambulance.

During the transfer, paramedics performed CPR; however, upon arrival at the hospital, the attending physician confirmed that she had no vital signs.

Preliminary reports indicate that the employee began convulsing while eating a chocolate bar, which was allegedly given to her by a truck driver.

However, there is no official confirmation yet that this incident is related to her death, so the relevant authorities have launched an investigation to clarify the cause.
