The undergraduate programs in Social Communication and Communication Sciences (Communication), Economics, Electronic Engineering (Electronics Engineering), and Graphic Communication Design at the Metropolitan Autonomous University (UAM) ranked among the top five in their respective disciplines. This is according to the “Best Universities 2026” ranking, published by the Reforma newspaper in its University section.

These results confirm that the UAM has consolidated academic strengths in strategic fields, through a solid teaching model, high-level research, and close community engagement. The institution consistently ranks among the top universities in the country and is among the leading public education institutions, competing with prestigious private organizations.
