Professor Alejandro Hernández Yarto, director of the Multipurpose Cultural Center in Nuevo Laredo, announced that classes at the center will be suspended starting this Thursday.
He explained that the workshops offered focus on the artistic training of children and young people interested in learning various disciplines.
He detailed that, by order of the mayor, activities will be suspended Thursday and Friday, resuming on Monday, April 6, with introductory art courses.
The director noted that some students have already begun performing at festivals, such as the recent folk dance event in which the children’s group participated.
Finally, he indicated that they are currently preparing for the workshop closing ceremonies, scheduled for June, when the training courses will conclude.
He invited everyone to visit the Multipurpose Cultural Center, located on Ayuntamiento Sur Street, in the Infonavit Fundadores neighborhood.
