The port of Cabo San Lucas welcomed the Virgin Voyages cruise ship “Brilliant Lady” during the Easter holiday period, as part of an international route that included destinations in Latin America.
The municipal director of Tourism, Ana Gabriela Navarro, reported that the ship arrived on April 3, with Cabo San Lucas being its only stop in Mexico on this itinerary.
According to the information provided, the cruise ship departed from Miami on March 21 and will conclude its voyage on April 6 in Los Angeles, after visiting destinations in Colombia, Panama, Costa Rica, and Guatemala.
The ship is carrying 2,750 passengers and 1,200 crew members, who were welcomed by local authorities and representatives of the tourism sector.
Navarro emphasized that the arrival of this type of cruise ship contributes to the international positioning of Los Cabos, in addition to generating economic benefits and promoting the destination’s natural, cultural, and tourist attractions.
Finally, the Los Cabos City Council reiterated its intention to continue promoting strategies to strengthen the cruise segment and expand the destination’s presence in international markets.
