“We have detected a very particular modus operandi that could be occurring in Rosarito, involving unfenced lots or properties belonging to people who don’t reside there permanently or who are absent for several months at a time,” he explained.
🚨According to the Prosecutor, these individuals obtain information from various public documents about the status of properties and take advantage of any outstanding debt or oversight to seize them through adverse possession.
