At the Tianguis Turístico de México 2026, KUZÁ Beach & Adventure Park was officially launched, an innovative project that promises to transform Cozumel’s recreational and tourism offerings. The inauguration was attended by Leyla R. Osorio, CEO of Global Cruises, the park’s developer, and Bernardo Cueto Riestra, Secretary of Tourism for Quintana Roo, who emphasized the importance of this investment for the region’s economy and sustainable tourism.
KUZÁ Beach & Adventure Park represents the first “All-in-One” concept on the island of Cozumel, integrating adventure, fun, gastronomy, and hospitality into a single destination. With an initial investment of $35 million, the park spans 66 hectares, including a kilometer of beach, and harmoniously combines modern infrastructure with the conservation of the natural environment.
Among its main attractions, KUZÁ boasts the island’s largest water park, covering 15,000 m², featuring four 26-meter-high water slides and a lazy river over 200 meters long. Visitors can also enjoy off-road circuits with state-of-the-art RZR vehicles and four zip-line towers for adventure lovers. The experience is complemented by three distinct beach areas – Family, Golden VIP, and Aura (exclusively for adults) – four specialty restaurants, and seven bars, providing a comprehensive experience for all ages.
A fundamental pillar of KUZÁ is its commitment to sustainability and ecological preservation. The park maintains 91% of its area as a protected natural reserve, conserving four distinct ecosystems. To minimize its environmental impact, KUZÁ uses 100% electric trams for internal transportation and develops conservation programs such as “Roots for the Future,” focused on mangrove protection. “Kuzápaal,” focused on environmental education; and local wildlife protection campaigns, including the monitoring of sea turtles, birds, and butterflies.
Leyla R. Osorio emphasized during the presentation: “KUZÁ is not just a park; it’s an experience that connects our visitors with the essence of Cozumel, promoting responsible and sustainable tourism.”
Global Cruises LLC, the company behind this initiative, is headquartered in Miami and operates in more than 140 international ports. It serves over one million passengers annually and holds the Travelife certification, which recognizes its leadership in sustainable practices within the tourism sector.
With the capacity to receive up to 7,000 visitors daily, KUZÁ Beach & Adventure Park is positioning itself as a benchmark for tourism innovation and sustainability in the Mexican Caribbean, anticipating a new era for tourism in Cozumel.
