This Thursday saw a moderate flow of tourists in Mazatlán, who arrived early for the May 1st holiday weekend.
From very early in the morning, groups of tourists could be seen strolling along the boardwalk and taking souvenir photos.

The Estrada family arrived this morning from Torreón, and its members said they were taking advantage of the long weekend to vacation for a few days in the port city.
“We arrived early, and since our room isn’t ready yet, we took the opportunity to take family photos, have breakfast, and walk around for a while,” they said.
A group of young people from Guadalajara said they arrived this Thursday and will be here until Sunday.
According to municipal authorities, hotels are reporting 85 percent occupancy for this weekend.
