Volaris will connect Oaxaca with Querétaro, Puebla, and Tijuana via three new routes beginning operations on June 1st and 2nd, as part of its expansion in southern Mexico.

The announcement was made at the Tianguis Turístico Acapulco 2026, where the airline presented the new routes from Oaxaca de Juárez, Huatulco, and Puerto Escondido to destinations in central, Bajío, and northern Mexico.

The new routes will expand travel options for residents and visitors, facilitating tourism, commerce, and business travel between strategic regions of the country.

The presentation included the participation of the state Secretary of Tourism, Saymi Adriana Pineda Velasco, and Jorge García, the airline’s Director of Market Development and Cargo, who emphasized that these connections respond to market growth in the state.

The company reported that tickets are now available on its digital platforms, with fares starting at 149 pesos, subject to availability and conditions.

Furthermore, he specified that the frequencies and schedules were designed to cater to both leisure and business travel, with flexible arrangements that allow for short- and long-distance connections.

The announced routes include Oaxaca–Puebla, Huatulco–Querétaro, and Puerto Escondido–Tijuana, with staggered operations beginning June 1 and 2.
