Some of the most anticipated concerts for audiences in southern Tamaulipas are coming this May, as, after a long wait, the city will welcome two iconic figures of Spanish-language music: Chayanne and Marco Antonio Solís.

Chayanne, known as “the father of America,” will fulfill a promise he made in September 2025, when his show at Estadio Tamaulipas was canceled due to weather conditions.

Meanwhile, “El Buki” will return to Tampico after his last performance in the city in 2010.

Chayanne will perform at the Recinto Ferial (Fairgrounds) on May 12, presenting a special opportunity to celebrate Mother’s Day. Those who purchased tickets for his previous show can renew them at Klass Sport, 3 Arcos branch.

Those who purchased physical tickets must present their original ticket, while those who purchased digitally must bring official identification, their order number, and the email address used for the transaction. This process will be available until Saturday, May 2nd.

The singer of hits like “Torero,” “Bailando Bachata,” and “Dejaría todo” will arrive with his “Bailemos Otra Vez” Tour, which will also visit other cities in Mexico and abroad.

Meanwhile, Marco Antonio Solís, known for hits like “¿A dónde vamos a parar?”, will perform on May 29th at Estadio Tamaulipas with his “Gratitud” Tour.

It’s worth noting that tickets are still available for both concerts. Additionally, until Sunday, May 3rd, fans of Chayanne and Marco Antonio Solís can take advantage of a 30% discount in any section.

Tickets can be purchased through the ShowbizTicket website, as well as at:

Suspiros Bakeries (Altamira and Plaza Pirámide locations)

Klass Sport (3 Arcos and downtown Tampico)

Arena Corona

With these performances, May is shaping up to be a key month for the music scene in southern Tamaulipas, and an opportunity for audiences of all ages to connect with two icons of Latin music.
