The crisis of the Fourth Transformation (4T) is now a snowballing mess.
Two well-placed blows, two events that are sowing panic within this government and hitting them like a bucket of cold water.
First: A possible arrest warrant for Adán Augusto López Hernández is now being strongly rumored. The one who was in charge, the number two, the strongman of the cabinet, the one who pulled the strings… is now in the crosshairs. His time is running out, and his refuge is coming to an end.
Second: The United States has said enough is enough. It has ordered a thorough, no-holds-barred review of the 53 Mexican consulates there. Make no mistake: this is not a courtesy visit; it is an audit to see what they are doing, what purpose they serve, and who is hiding behind them. If they find anything suspicious—and we already know they will—they will close them one by one.
And there is a name that is being mentioned in the courts, and it sounds bad: Rutilio Escandón Cadenas. The man who is now the consul in Miami is the former governor of Chiapas. Those in the know, those with the facts, are saying it clearly: they have the exact information, the complete files, detailing how organized crime and violence grew like never before in Chiapas… precisely when he was sitting in the governor’s chair.
They have already proven his ties, his dealings, and his partnership with Adán Augusto and the “La Barredora” group. He’s already marked, he’s on their list. And the authoritative voices say: they’re coming for him.
This isn’t over, folks. Their little charade is falling apart.
Start thinking.
