Governor Marina del Pilar Ávila Olmeda announced that the new bus terminal in the Valle de Guadalupe will begin operations in the coming days, as part of a strategy that combines transportation modernization, road rehabilitation, and enhanced security.

This complex, which will operate several daily routes to key destinations in the state, represents a step toward optimizing connectivity to the region’s gastronomic and wine routes, directly benefiting the entire tourism value chain.

Governor Ávila Olmeda’s administration has allocated 4.5 million pesos for road rehabilitation using hydraulic concrete and asphalt mix, ensuring safe and efficient journeys to destinations known for their health and hospitality, as well as to restaurants recognized by the Michelin Guide, maintaining the high standards of quality demanded by a world-class destination.

The state governor also ordered the start of construction on the operational base for the State Citizen Security Force (FESC) in the Guadalupe Valley. This will reduce response times to any incident and strengthen community policing, complementing the operations already deployed in neighboring municipalities, to ensure peace and security in the wine-growing region.

In this regard, the Baja California Tourism Secretariat has followed Governor Marina del Pilar’s directives to strengthen ties with the productive sectors and local communities.

This collaborative effort allows the Guadalupe Valley to maintain its position as the country’s leading wine producer and evolve as a symbol of premium hospitality and comprehensive security.
