The Chilean winery, one of the largest in Latin America, was recognized by Forbes as the best winery in the world.

Mexico has established itself as one of the most dynamic markets for the wine industry in Latin America. In 2024 alone, the wine market reached an estimated value of USD 4.381 billion, and projections indicate that it could exceed USD 6.6 billion by 2030.

Amid this transformation, Viña Santa Rita, one of the most important wine groups in the region, is reaching one of its most significant moments. The Chilean winery, founded in 1880 in Alto Jahuel, in the Maipo Valley, was recently recognized by Forbes, one of the world’s most prestigious publications, as “The Best Winery in the World” in The World’s 50 Best Wineries 2025.

More than just a one-off accolade, this distinction validates a long-term strategy in which the company has combined winemaking tradition, oenological innovation, sustainability, and heritage tourism to consolidate a globally relevant offering.

This recognition also comes at a particularly favorable time for Santa Rita in Mexico, a market that has become one of the company’s strategic focuses in the region.
