The National Coordinator of Education Workers (CNTE) continues its series of mobilizations this Monday as part of the national strike that began last week. This marks the ninth day of demonstrations, blockades, and protests in various locations in Mexico City and other parts of the country.
The teachers’ actions are causing traffic disruptions on major roads and in areas of the Historic Center where they are maintaining a sit-in. Authorities recommend that citizens stay tuned to official reports and plan their trips accordingly.
After several days of demonstrations and dialogue with the federal government, the CNTE is continuing its protest to demand attention to its labor and educational demands.
