Neither Cancun nor New York: these are the 10 new destinations that Volaris now flies to from Guadalajara and Puerto Vallarta

Volaris added 10 routes from Jalisco starting June 1, 2026. The new flights connect Mexican destinations and U.S. cities departing from Guadalajara International Airport (with seven new destinations) and from Puerto Vallarta International Airport, with three additional links.

What destinations do the new Volaris routes connect from Guadalajara and Puerto Vallarta in Jalisco? In June, Volaris added new routes that connect different destinations in Jalisco with other Mexican cities. In addition, some flights now operate to international destinations.

From Guadalajara, Volaris now operates flights to:

  • Salt Lake City (Utah, USA)
  • Detroit (Michigan, USA)
  • Reynosa
  • Querétaro
  • San Luis Potosí
  • Zacatecas
  • Los Mochis

From Puerto Vallarta, the new direct connections are to:

  • Aguascalientes
  • Puebla
  • San Luis Potosí

The route connecting Jalisco with Seattle turns 10 years old In addition to the new routes, Jalisco has a historic connection with the United States: the Guadalajara–Seattle route, which in 2026 celebrates a decade of operations with Volaris.

The airline currently operates two daily frequencies between both cities, and according to plans, Aeroméxico will add an additional frequency in the coming weeks. This is in addition to Delta and Alaska Airlines flights between Seattle and Puerto Vallarta.

Altogether, Jalisco has 30 weekly flights connecting the state with Seattle, making that corridor one of the most active between the state and the U.S. West Coast.
