A judge formally charged Jorge René G. H. with aggravated sexual abuse against two minors, after the Specialized Prosecutor’s Office for Crimes Against Women Due to Gender and Family Violence presented the corresponding evidence.
According to the investigation conducted by the Sexual Offenses Investigation Unit, the events occurred at a residence in the Mármol neighborhood of Chihuahua City. The case file states that between June and July 2016, the accused allegedly assaulted a six-year-old girl.
The prosecution also documented a second case that occurred in June 2017, when he allegedly committed acts of abuse against another ten-year-old girl at the same residence.
Jorge René G. H. was arrested by agents of the State Investigation Agency in the Universidad neighborhood, pursuant to an arrest warrant. After being formally charged, he will face the criminal case under precautionary measures other than preventive detention, including periodic signing, a ban on leaving the country, and a restriction on approaching or communicating with the victims.
