Construction material haulers from Tecomán, Armería, and other parts of the state protested this Monday at Pinfra’s headquarters in Mexico City, demanding attention to their grievances regarding work allocation and respect for agreements established with the company.
According to Miguel Rosales, leader of the CROC union in Armería, approximately 50 representatives of the movement traveled to the nation’s capital to carry out the protest. Meanwhile, in the state of Colima, operations remain virtually paralyzed, with more than 250 cargo trucks stopped and awaiting a resolution.
The haulers stated that the lack of work has severely impacted the livelihoods of hundreds of families who depend on this activity. They requested the direct intervention of company executives to reach agreements that would allow them to resume operations.
They indicated that they will remain at Pinfra’s offices until they receive a favorable response, considering their demands legitimate and seeking to guarantee equitable working conditions for construction material haulers in the region.
Meanwhile, the strike continues in Colima, leaving truck drivers and owners uncertain, who hope that dialogue with the company will resolve the conflict in the coming hours.
