Following Mexico’s elimination from the World Cup and the promise to give away 150,000 tickets to Mexicans, Xcaret decided to compensate those who registered with 50% discounts at its parks: Xcaret, Xel-Há, Xplor and Xplor Fuego, Xenses, and Xoximilco.
Luis Carlos Velázquez, Corporate Marketing Director of Grupo Xcaret, stated that they sought to “recognize the emotion, hope, and unity that this moment awakened among millions of Mexicans.”
He also indicated that those who can prove their official residency in the state of Quintana Roo will receive an even greater discount. The period to redeem this benefit will begin on July 8, 2026, and end on July 31, 2027, subject to availability and restrictions due to special events.
The company warned that ticket redemption will not take place at park ticket booths, as it has committed to notifying registered participants via email to ensure access control.
With the Mexican national team advancing to the Round of 16 of the World Cup, Xcaret tripled its complimentary park admissions, increasing its offer from 50,000 to 150,000 free tickets. (Xcaret triples free tickets if Mexico advances to the quarterfinals).
Registration was only open to Mexican citizens over 18 years of age. Those who registered will be eligible to receive one of the 150,000 complimentary tickets to Xcaret, valid between July 8, 2026, and July 31, 2027.
