The Michoacán Ministry of Culture (Secum) invites you to enjoy the third annual Corunda and Churipo Fair, taking place July 10-12, from 8:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., in the courtyards of the Morelia House of Culture.
The event brings together approximately 30 traditional cooks, artisans, mezcal producers, and local businesses, with the aim of introducing the public to the rich gastronomy, crafts, and culture that distinguish the various regions of Michoacán.

The corunda and churipo, two of the most representative dishes of Purépecha cuisine, are the stars of this event. Their preparation preserves ingredients and techniques passed down through generations, representing a living expression of Michoacán’s identity and cultural heritage.
The program includes a clarinet ensemble performance this Friday, July 10, while a fashion show of traditional clothing will take place on Saturday, July 11. Visitors will also be able to purchase handicrafts, textiles, mezcal, and other products made by Michoacán artisans.
The Michoacán Ministry of Culture (Secum) invites families, visitors, and tourists to enjoy this celebration of traditional Michoacán cuisine and to support the local economy by purchasing these products from cooks, artisans, producers, mezcal makers, and other creators in the state.
