The forecast includes locally intense rainfall in the eastern and southeastern parts of the state, so authorities recommend taking precautions in areas near rivers and streams. The combination of heavy rainfall and runoff could increase water levels.

During the afternoon, the hottest period of the day is expected. In Hermosillo, the maximum temperature will be 37°C and the minimum 25°C, while Ciudad Obregón will reach up to 40°C, with a minimum of 26°C. In Huatabampo, temperatures of 38°C as the high and 27°C as the low are expected.
The heat will also be intense in the northern and northwestern parts of the state. San Luis Río Colorado will reach 42°C, with a minimum of 31°C; Sonoyta will have 39°C and 28°C, while Heroica Caborca will record up to 41°C with a minimum of 27°C.
At 11:00 a.m., temperatures will begin to rise significantly, and later, during the hours of highest solar radiation, maximum temperatures will be reached. At the same time, the heaviest rainfall could occur in the eastern and southeastern parts of Sonora.
The wind will have a speed of 20 to 30 kilometers per hour, with gusts of 40 to 60 kilometers per hour in some areas of the state. These conditions could reduce visibility and cause weak branches or loose objects to fall.

During the night, temperatures will begin to decrease, although mild to warm conditions will remain in several regions. Rainfall may continue in isolated areas, especially where afternoon storms are concentrated.
