The incident occurred on Tuesday, July 21, in Coahuila. According to reports shared by users, the officer allegedly demanded 3,000 pesos from the victims. However, the family was only able to gather 700 pesos, an amount they returned when they saw that their victims were documenting the incident.
It was then that the Coahuila state police officer begged the family to delete the video, offering 1,000 pesos in exchange.
To date, the Coahuila government has not issued a statement regarding whether the officer will be dismissed.
