Senator Lilly Téllez, a member of the National Action Party (PAN), launched new criticisms against Mayor Claudia Sheinbaum, asserting that her government is “illegitimate” and claiming that she came to power with money from drug cartels.
In her statement, she also maintained that Sheinbaum “does not represent Mexico” and labeled her a “leader of the mafia,” in a new political confrontation with the federal government.
