This incident took place at Terminal 3 of the Cancún Airport, when a van driver allegedly struck a tourist’s rental car.
Angered, the foreigner began confronting the Mexican driver; the latter apologized but went back to work after noticing no visible damage. The visitor then struck the driver on the head with a hard-sided thermos, prompting the local to kick him back, and the altercation escalated into a fistfight.
Both parties calmed down after witnesses told them they were being filmed. The National Guard arrived, but ultimately, an agreement was reached between the two parties.
