Chirringas Racing Team (CRT) secured second place in Class 10 at the 2026 Coahuila 1000 Desert Rally, one of the country’s most demanding off-road racing events.
The duo comprising Sergio Márquez and Javi—a driver hailing from Ensenada, Baja California—successfully completed both days of racing and brought the vehicle across the finish line to secure a spot on the podium.
Throughout the course, the team tackled desert terrain and highly challenging routes that tested both the vehicle’s durability and the coordination between the drivers and the technical crew.
This second-place finish was the result of months of preparation involving the Zacatecas-based team’s builders, co-drivers, mechanics, and support staff.
