Jalisco is preparing to host the HEAT Latin Music Awards for the first time, an event that will bring a week of activities dedicated to Latin American music to Puerto Vallarta from October 31 to November 5, 2026.
This edition will mark the awards’ debut in Mexico and will seek to promote internationally some of the state’s most recognized cultural symbols, such as mariachi, tequila, and charrería.
Lorena Martínez, general director of the Jalisco State Entertainment Agency, said during the announcement made in Miami that the state is excited to welcome the awards.
“The truth is that I am very happy this afternoon, beautiful, here in Miami, and we are thrilled to receive the awards in Jalisco, in Puerto Vallarta, this coming November,” she said.
HEAT Week will run from the end of October through November 5 and will conclude with the gala at the Puerto Vallarta International Convention Center. The program includes several days of activities involving artists, music, and entertainment before the final ceremony.
