What should you do during a group fight?

According to information shared on social media, if you are involved in a group fight, your actions can make a difference:

  1. Move away quickly: Walk or run carefully in the opposite direction from the center of the conflict while remaining aware of what is happening behind you.
  2. Do not intervene: Avoid trying to calm the aggressors; the risk of being struck or attacked with a weapon is very high.
  3. Find shelter: Enter an open business, a covered area, or a well-lit place with security.
  4. Protect your vital areas: If the crowd pulls you in or surrounds you, cross your forearms in front of your chest to preserve space for breathing. If you fall to the ground, assume a fetal position and cover your head with your hands.
