Through the Undersecretariat of Culture, the Government of the State of Colima—led by Governor Indira Vizcaíno Silva—promotes artistic training among young people as a tool for holistic human development. Consequently, it invites children and adolescents aged 6 to 11 to join the Dance Initiation Workshop offered by the Secretariat of Education and Culture’s Children’s and Youth Folkloric Ballet, starting September 2.
Sessions will be held on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from 4:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at the ‘Alejandro Rangel Hidalgo’ Arts and Crafts Workshop building within the State Cultural Center. This introductory workshop offers a space to explore the country’s dance traditions and an opportunity to nurture children’s talent.
