Social media sentiment is not working in Claudia Sheinbaum’s favor: 58% of the posts analyzed by Dinamic were negative, compared to 39% that were favorable and 3% that fell somewhere in between.
The analysis covers 561,000 posts made between May 31 and August 31, 2026.
However, there is a key distinction: this was not a poll directly asking Mexicans whether they approve or disapprove of the president. Instead, Dinamic analyzed the tone of online conversations regarding her.
According to Augusto El Río, the firm’s CEO, issues related to security and controversies involving other politicians have also contributed to an increase in negative comments about Sheinbaum.
