El Malecón Carlos A. Madrazo Becerra vibrated this Saturday, September 5, from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., becoming the heart of the logistics and sporting activities.
Hundreds of local, national, and international cyclists gathered early to pick up their official kits and experience a day that exceeded expectations for what would traditionally be a registration event.
Supported by the Secretariat of Tourism, the space was transformed into a showcase combining world-class sports with Tabasco’s warmth: handicraft stands, local entrepreneur booths, food offerings, recreational areas, and photo spots where athletes captured their pride in being part of the Tour de France series.
International Standard
During the in-person package distribution —which required official identification and the waiver form or check-in through the Asdeporte app— participants received their official gear for the challenge.
Each kit included the Santini commemorative jersey, the finisher’s medal at the finish line, the printed bib number for the lower back, and the bicycle number with an integrated chip, which must be placed on the front of the handlebars for official timekeeping.
In addition, competitors registered under the VIP experience will have access to a preferred starting corral, a special package of accessories, and an exclusive recovery area in the Village with unlimited food and beverages.
Mobility Operation
To guarantee athletes’ safety starting at 6:00 a.m. this Sunday, September 6, traffic authorities have arranged partial road closures and controlled circulation in the municipality of Centro and surrounding areas.
To bring citizens into this international-caliber experience, festive activation points have been set up at the Plaza de Armas esplanade and along the Carlos A. Madrazo Malecón, at the intersection with Reforma Street, where families will be able to cheer on the cyclists.

Festive Atmosphere at the Malecón
The L’Étape Tabasco by Tour de France kit distribution brought together hundreds of cyclists at the Carlos A. Madrazo Malecón between 11:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m., turning registration into a celebration featuring local cuisine, handicrafts, and photo areas supported by the Secretariat of Tourism.
Final Preparations and Road Operation
With official Santini apparel, chip-equipped numbers, and bibs ready, the athletes declared themselves prepared to take the start this Sunday at 6:00 a.m., while authorities maintain traffic restrictions from 6:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. along key sections of the municipality of Centro.
Competitor Kit
Number with Chip (Bicycle): It must be placed on the front of the handlebars—not on the stem or the seat—so that it can be detected by the timing arches.
Bib Number (Cyclist): It must be attached with safety pins to the lower back over the jersey for full visibility to the judges.
