As part of efforts to improve public spaces and foster social responsibility, Mayor Leo Montañez is promoting the Community Service program.
More than 30,000 people—individuals who committed administrative infractions—have participated in this initiative, voluntarily choosing to substitute their penalties with cleanup or weeding work.
Aguascalientes keeps moving forward; the participation of these individuals has contributed—during the second year of the administration alone—to the restoration of over 359,000 square meters of public areas, including central and side medians and spaces beneath overpasses, for the benefit of local families.
In his second annual report and second term as mayor, Leo Montañez reaffirms his commitment to working toward a cleaner Aguascalientes and a better urban environment.
