Mexico City (CDMX) is preparing for Pachanga Antirracista, a festival that seeks to turn art and culture into a space for reflection and, above all, to reject racism and discrimination.
The program includes dance, cabaret, performance, and even sonideras at various locations throughout CDMX.

What will there be at Pachanga Antirracista in CDMX?
Pachanga Antirracista is a festival that brings together activities at different venues throughout CDMX. Each venue will have a program combining conversations, exhibitions, fashion shows, cinema, and even sonideras to get you dancing, along with activities designed to enjoy and reflect on diversity, such as:
- Performing arts: music, theater, dance, and other artistic expressions that highlight the richness of the cultural heritage of Afro-Mexican communities and Indigenous peoples.
- Conversations and workshops: spaces for reflection and dialogue on topics such as racial discrimination, identity, and self-representation.
- Exhibitions and audiovisual presentations: visual artists and filmmakers will present exhibitions and screenings focused on cultural and artistic diversity.
- Literary and poetry events: book presentations and poetry in Indigenous languages, as well as narratives that redefine identities.
- Children’s activities: designed to promote empathy and respect for racial and cultural diversity.

From October 3 to October 22, 2026, head to the fifth edition of Pachanga Antirracista in CDMX.
The vast majority of activities are free. Screenings at the Cineteca have a preferential admission price of $50 pesos.
