More than 250 buses and vans were used to transport people to Claudia Sheinbaum’s event at the Siglo XXI Convention Center.
But there is one detail that stands out: many of these vehicles would reportedly be linked to the same transportation groups and leaders that for years dominated transportation in Yucatán, some of whom lost ground with the arrival of Va y Ven, while others, such as FUTV, complained about not having benefited.
Coincidence?
Because while Va y Ven is going through a crisis, with outstanding debts, a reduction in the number of units, and impacts affecting thousands of users, it appears that the old alliances between politics and those with the ability to mobilize people are once again gaining strength.
In the end, the question is not who filled the Siglo XXI, but what is being negotiated behind those buses filled with people.
