The list is annual and is compiled based on the votes of more than 600 industry experts from around the world, from bartenders and cocktail connoisseurs to consultants, critics and specialized writers.

Barcelona was once again the world capital of cocktails for the second consecutive year, this time with the Sips bar having been chosen as the best in the world.

For the second time since the list was created in 2009, a bar from outside New York or London has taken the top spot. In 2022, a bar from Barcelona, Paradiso, also occupied the first step, dropping to fourth place.

In 2022 it ranked third in this prestigious classification.

The podium is completed by New York’s Double Chicken Please, which has risen to number 2 from number 6 last year.

In addition to the 2 Spanish and 2 Mexican representatives, the Top 10 also has a Colombian local. This is Alquímico, in Cartagena, which in 2022 was tenth and now occupies ninth place.
