Residents and visitors said they escaped the city’s heat by visiting Sabancuy beach this Saturday, May 11th.
Due to the high temperatures in Sabancuy, locals and visitors went to the beaches to mitigate the heat and cool off a bit, as the weather was perfect for a beach day.
Sabancuy Fair Benefits Tourism Sector
The National Electoral Institute (INE) begins to collect early votes in Campeche. Sabancuy received dozens of visitors who came for breakfast and then went to the beaches to alleviate the intense heat of recent days, resulting in a large number of tourists at Sabancuy’s beaches.
Héctor Flores González, who lives in Ciudad del Carmen, said that the heat is more intense in the city, so he and his family visited Sabancuy to cool off on the beaches, as they often come to the town and really like the village and its beaches.
He commented that Sabancuy is more attractive with the tourist pier, and they are pleased to arrive at a calm and attractive town, which also has very clean beaches, so they visit whenever they can.
He noted that his family really enjoys visiting Sabancuy, arriving early to have breakfast at the market and visit the church, and then they go to the beach, where they stay until the afternoon before returning to Ciudad del Carmen.
He emphasized that they visited Sabancuy during Holy Week, but the weather was bad, so they could not enjoy the beaches. Now that the temperatures have been high, they decided to visit the town to cool off at the beaches.
