
The government of Durango and the companies Solarever and Shanghai Launch Design signed a strategic cooperation agreement in the central city of Tianjin, China.

Members of the Mexican Embassy in China, the government of Durango and Solarever visited the office of Shanghai Launch Design Automobile Design, in Tianjin, to sign a strategic cooperation agreement on electric car issues.
In a joint statement, they pointed out that the signing of this agreement in China marks the entry of Sino-Mexican cooperation in the field of new energies, not only electric cars.
They would manufacture electric cars in Durango
Shaohua Wu, general director of the Launch Design office in Tianjin, presented to the Mexican team the company’s achievements and work in recent years.
Esteban Villegas, governor of Durango, and Simon Zhao, general director of the Solarever Group, showed interest in the unmanned electric sweeping vehicles developed.
Esteban Villegas presented in detail the aspects of transportation, economy and culture of Durango, explaining in detail the state government’s support plans and policies in the field of electric cars.
Solarever presented the group’s investment plans for the next 5 years in Mexico and its strategic R&D vision for the creation of electric cars in order to export to Latin America and the United States.
After the meeting, Esteban Villegas, Simon Zhao and Xun Wang, president of Shanghai Launch Design, agreed to a strategic cooperation, committing to open a research and development center in Durango.
Solarever Group said:
