The El Paso Meteorological Department reported that in western Texas and southern New Mexico, this meteorological phenomenon was captured.

Ciudad Juárez.- The United States National Meteorological Service in El Paso, Texas, shared a series of images of the northern lights that were seen on Friday night in some parts of that country after the category 5 geomagnetic storm that was recorded yesterday.
According to the Meteorological Department of El Paso, Texas, which borders Ciudad Juárez, Chihuahua, this meteorological phenomenon was observed in western Texas and southern New Mexico.
In Chihuahua, social media users shared images of some views of the northern lights in the Mennonite fields of Cuauhtémoc, Chihuahua and also in the municipality of Guachochi.
Although it was announced that Chihuahua would be one of the states in the country where this phenomenon would be observed, in municipalities like Juárez very little was observed during Friday night.
Other municipalities in Chihuahua where they were observed were: Carichi, San Buenaventura, Creel, among others.
Northern lights in Sinaloa
The northern lights that illuminated the night sky of Los Mochis with different colors became a unique spectacle, according to the messages published on social networks by people who appreciated it.
As in other states of the Republic, in the northern municipality of Sinaloa the phenomenon was quite an experience for those who managed to observe it at the beginning of the night, which is why they shared it on social networks.
The spectacle of colors seen in the sky at night, derived from the geomagnetic storm, was appreciated by residents of the city of Los Mochis and became an attraction never seen before.

Another point in Mexico where this phenomenon could be observed was in Mexquitic de Carmona, San Luis Potosí, and it was through the Pixel Hobby account, which shares photographs of the municipality, where a series of images of the night sky of the area were published. Between pink and purple, this phenomenon surprised the inhabitants of Mexquitic de Carmona as well as Potosinas and Potosinos who live in the entity, because the Northern Lights are not captured on a regular basis in Mexican lands.
