Querétaro, Qro. May 16, 2024.- In an operation carried out in San José El Alto, Querétaro, the authorities discovered 21 people who were in a warehouse located on the highway to Chichimequillas. The incident occurred after a citizen alert indicated that help was being requested from inside the warehouse.

Of the 21 people found, four are women and 17 men, all of legal age. It is important to note that two of the released people had non-localization cards in Mexico City. In addition, two detained individuals have outstanding arrest warrants.

In the operation, coordinated by the state police and supported by elements of the Sedena, three high-end vehicles were also seized, two of which had alterations in their serial numbers.

The police intervention began after a citizen approached elements of the State Police to report the pleas for help coming from the warehouse. The officers’ quick action allowed access and subsequent discovery of the people and vehicles involved.

Currently, the legal status of the remaining 17 people is being verified to determine if there are more arrest warrants or situations of deprivation of liberty.
