The municipality of Querétaro officially presented the poster for the Querétaro Experimental International Festival, whose third edition will feature star performances by Porter, Paté de Fua, Comisario Pantera and Descartes a Kant, among other music, theater, dance and other artistic disciplines.
The festival will take place from June 8 to August 17 and will feature a total of 115 shows by 85 local, national and international groups. Admission will be free to all performances, which will take place in the Madero Walkway, Zenea Garden and Guerrero Garden in the Historic Center.
“This third edition will continue to bring top-level music, dance and theater to public squares so that families can enjoy art and culture for free and, it is also important to mention, so that we continue supporting local artists, the restaurant and service sector, the commerce sector, among others,” said Mayor Luis Nava.
For this edition, a joint investment of 29.7 million pesos was allocated by the Culture and Tourism departments. It is estimated that during its 10 weeks of duration, the festival will attract some 110 thousand attendees, as well as an economic spillover of 130 million pesos, mainly for the commerce and services sector.
